New Players
Players who are new to Bayside Basketball can submit an expression of interest ahead of registrations opening for the upcoming season.

Returning Players
Existing members are contacted approximately 4–6 weeks before the end of the current season to confirm their place for the next season. Due to high demand, returning players are given priority.

Ensure your partner’s email address and mobile number are listed in BasketballConnect as a parent or guardian contact. Club emails and SMS messages are sent only to contacts linked to the player’s registration.
In some limited situations, players may be approved to participate in two teams (for example, U12 and U14). When this occurs, the following applies:

Bayside vs Bayside
When two Bayside teams play each other, the second listed team is required to wear the alternate orange jersey.

Our goal is to group players of similar ability across seasons and age groups. When players move into a new age division, Age Group Coordinators may recommend appropriate placements in consultation with parents.
Bayside Basketball is an approved Fair Play provider. Eligible families can apply for a $200 voucher through the Queensland Government and redeem it during registration.
Training sessions are organised by team coaches. Additional development sessions may be offered. Players should wear suitable footwear and bring a basketball and water bottle.
Players are required to purchase and wear the official club shorts and reversible playing top. Please visit the Uniforms page for details.

Fixtures and results are available in the BasketballConnect app. Bayside Basketball does not control draws, which are scheduled by RedCity Basketball.
Size 5: U8, U10 & U12
Size 6: Girls U14, U16 & U18

All players must complete registration with Basketball Queensland through the BasketballConnect platform before participating.

Coaches and team managers can manage their teams within the app by accessing the team profile to send messages, view fixtures, and track attendance.
