Bayside Basketball Uniforms

Bayside Basketball uniforms are designed to stand out on the court — bold, professional, and fully reversible for both home and away games.

You can purchase official Bayside Basketball uniforms and accessories through our Online Store.

Please note: All Bayside Basketball players are required to own the full official uniform set, including the reversible singlet, club shorts, and a training singlet.

Bayside actively instils pride in our uniform and merchandise. Arriving correctly attired and ready for games and training shows respect for the club, your team, and your coaches’ time.

This is particularly important for the older age groups, as younger members look to them as an example.

Playing singlet and shorts: Penalties in the form of reduced team points may be imposed by the opposition on game day as per RedCity Junior Competition Rules.

Training singlet: The training singlet is compulsory for all members. Its reversibility is invaluable for coaches when running drills and scrimmages.

When can I order uniforms?

Once your player is fully registered, you’ll receive an invitation to join Slack, Bayside’s official communication platform. From there, our Uniform Coordinator will guide you through the ordering process if you haven’t already placed an order.

Please note: orders are not processed until our Registrar confirms the player’s registration is complete.

By ordering a Bayside uniform, you acknowledge and accept the Terms and Conditions outlined on this page.

Where do I purchase uniforms?

Bayside Basketball does not operate a physical uniform store. All purchases are made via our Online Store.

When your order is ready, you’ll receive a Slack notification with collection details, including the pick-up address (Victoria Point).

What do I need to purchase?

The following items are compulsory:

  • Reversible club singlet
  • Club shorts
  • Training singlet

How do I determine the correct size?

Each product in our Online Store includes a detailed description and sizing guide. Please read the instructions carefully, as sizing can vary between garments. For best results, view on a computer where the layout is more user-friendly.

What if I order the wrong size?

We can arrange an exchange if the garment is returned in its original packaging with tags intact and undamaged.

How can I check what numbers are available?

We purchase singlets in bulk to maintain cost efficiency and stock. This means only certain numbers are available per size at any given time; singlet numbers are not custom-ordered.

Why can’t I choose my preferred number?

Numbers are allocated to minimise clashes within teams, especially as players change teams between seasons. To help reduce costs for families, we aim to assign numbers less likely to conflict in future. A player’s year of birth is considered during allocation.

What happens if there’s a number clash?

Although our system reduces clashes, it isn’t foolproof. In some cases, a new singlet may be required.

This system does not account for players participating out of their age group. If a clash occurs, the player out of age group will be required to purchase an alternate singlet. If both are out of age group, we ask parents to collaborate to resolve it.

U19, U20, U21, and YDL groups span wider birth years, which can increase clashes. We appreciate families working together to manage any conflicts.

Is there a second-hand uniform option?

We don’t currently offer a second-hand store. If you privately purchase a second-hand singlet, please note you may need to buy a new one if a number clash arises.

To check a second-hand number before purchasing, send a direct message to Caren on Slack with:

  • Singlet number
  • Player’s full name
  • Player’s date of birth

We’ll confirm the likelihood of a clash based on the details provided.
