Girlz SkillzUp – 4 Week Skill Development Program
Girlz Skillz Up is a high-energy, four-week skill development program designed for current members of Bayside who want to build strong basketball fundamentals while levelling up their game IQ. Across the program, players will work on core skills including ball handling, shooting technique, footwork, passing and defensive fundamentals, all taught in a fun, supportive and engaging environment.
Each session will also focus on developing basketball intelligence, helping players better understand spacing, decision-making, movement without the ball, and how to read the game at both ends of the court. Through game-based drills and small-sided play, athletes will learn how to apply their skills with confidence in real game situations.
Sessions are run by Coach Scotty, who brings energy, knowledge and a passion for helping young players grow in both skill and confidence.
Skillz Up is proudly sponsored by Archer Glass, whose support helps make this program possible for our junior athletes.
These sessions will run over 4 weeks at a cost of $75 and will be led by an experienced external coach who brings fresh drills, insights, and motivation.
Age group: U10 to U16s
Dates: each Wednesday 6-7pm starting Wednesday 26 August 2026 - ending on 16 September 2026

Bayside Basketball Waitlist Winter Season 2026

Welcome to Bayside Basketball, we are a member of RedCity Roar Basketball Association.
Thank you for your interest in joining Bayside Basketball to play Junior Club Basketball. We’re excited to welcome both new and returning players to our program, which offers teams across all junior age groups.
If you are new to the club, please complete our Waitlist Registration form. Once we begin forming teams for the upcoming season, we will contact you. Please note that placement is not guaranteed. However, by joining the waitlist, you’ll be added to our mailing list and notified of opportunities in future seasons.
Please note: If you are an existing Bayside Basketball player, you do not need to complete the waitlist registration. You will be contacted directly during the team placement process.
Fee Summary
In addition to the Bayside Basketball club fee per player, all players must hold current registrations with both Basketball Queensland (BQ) and RedCity Roar.
Annual Basketball Queensland Registration:
Bayside Basketball Club Fee:
Under 10s – $285
Under 12 & Over – $380
Basketball Queensland fee: $92 per year (paid via Basketball Connect)
RedCity Association fee: $40 per season (paid via Basketball Connect)
Wide World of Sport BQ Fee: $5.50
Note: Many players will have already paid their Basketball Queensland annual registration as part of previous participation.
